Generally speaking, font re-sizing is best avoided. You have to assume that when you view a web page in 'medium' setting (that is, the default setting), that is exactly how it was designed to be seen. Resizing can sometimes cause slight distortion. Having said that, there are times when most of us would probably want to quickly re-size a web page for better reading comfort, especially when viewing on a small screen. On the homepage of UK Apologetics we provide a double button to decrease or increase text size in the main column. However, we don't do it throughout the site because any page can effectively be resized at the head of your browser, by simply going (Internet Explorer and Firefox), to 'view' > 'text size.' In Opera, go to 'view' > 'zoom' > 125%
Internet Explorer will then keep your revised setting until you choose to alter it. Firefox will revert back to 'medium' setting the next time you open your browser.
